Metallic Effect Seaside Gift Box

This cute little Scalloped Gift Card Box makes a Fun little suprise for Beachy Vacations! Can you just see the Salt Water Taffy inside?
So easy to stamp one up! Adding the Gold Enamel Effects to the top is really fun, just be sure to give it time to dry (a few hours). Using a palette knife helps with this, be generous with the amount of enamel effects you add if covering the entire box lid and work fast, it spreads pretty easily at first but dries enough to not be spreadable after a minute or two. (PRO TIP: practice on a scrap of cardstock first. A 1/2" or so paintbrush can also be used to spread this and can give some other whispy or other details than the palette knife - try both to see which you prefer.)
While waiting for this to dry you can die cut your pieces and stamp your sentiment, this sentiment was fussy cut around but a great label or tag would work great also.
The Seaside Wishes Stamp Bundle is phenomenal!! The embossing folder embosses and also allows for cutting out the sand dollars while embossing them! Now that's ingenuity! For the star fish I first embossed the cardstock piece in the 'sand' part of the embossing folder (around the edges), near the top. Then turned the cardstock so the embossing was de-bossed or the indentations are facing down and then die cut the startfish (it looks like a more realistic starfish now!).
This project used the small sand dollar and the larger coral. 
This bundle is also great for cards and scrapbooking.
